Sorry, I dont know. The PVR250 and PVR350 did produce a slightly better picture than the PVR150/500, but you'd hardly notice the difference.

is the happauge aware of the timestamp error in the 150mce cards ?

Yes, thats why they added those registry settings.

Sound like the 2 pass does the same compress on your file it did the first time around (example 50% 1st time the 50% again then 2nd time not sure though), I only do 1 pass with my setting at 90%, I do have 1.99gig files from movies but I like the quality I get at this setting.
