seems you must exit gbpvr to reflect timezone changes made for daylight savings time..otherwise the clock shows the change but the guide and clocks within gbpvr don't change until you exit..
and i am assuming all the internal logic won't see the changes either..

I cant think of anything that would require you to exit and restart, but I'm not particularly bothered about it if it does.

What exactly was shown incorrectly?

I woke up this morning and it was changed automatically without a restart of gbpvr.

The clock is correct in windows, but the guide is showing all shows off by 1 hour. I restarted GBPVR, same result. I rebooted my computer, same result. I updated the EPG, same result. HELP! All of my shows are off by 1 hour.

It sounds like your PC didnt get the Microsoft update to update to the new daylight savings change - either that or the timezone info on your PC is set incorrectly.

The clock is correct in windows and I double checked my timezone. I just downloaded the MS update before posting. Very strange. Any other ideas to check?

Remember also that the conversion to local time is done at the time the listings are imported. So if you're changing any settings to try and fix your problem, you'll need to do an 'empty epg' to get rid of existing show listings with the incorrect times.

If you just applied the MS patch before posting, then this was probably your problem. You should of applied it at least a week or so ago (assuming you have about a weeks worth of listings), then it all would have rolled by smoothly.

This solved the problem for me. I applied the patch this morning and the windows time was fixed right away, but all my recordings were an hour earlier than they should have been. A quick 'empty' epg' and reload and everything is back to normal.

i thought it was cuz i hadn't rebooted since adding the timezone changes, but windows had no problem seeing correct time..
and granted, i didn't wait over an hour before noticing the time hadn't changed in gbpvr's clocks, so it may have caught the change in time...

doesn't seem to matter too much, cuz the guide and Dish itself didn't have the right listings,[never does around timezone changes] so any recordings around that time will have incorrect info anyways...
[i checked both zap2it and the dish's tuner box and both were wrong, not reflective of time change,so problem lies with Dish's info, not zap2it or gbpvr]

just for info, i was looking at the guide and built-in clocks of gbpvr, which hadn't changed after the windows clock automatically changed over...
[i waited about 30 mins before restarting gbpvr, which corrected it..]

The same thing is happening here. I'm running Windows 2000 and using Zap2it for epg. Zap2it schedules are correct on their site, but GBPVR times are 1 hour off despite having run TZEdit. I've restarted the GBPVR service and reimported the epg, but still no joy Sad.
