With the latest build of GB-PVR...

About 50% of the time I use GB-PVR with the MVP after about 7-8 clicks of the remote, there is no more response from GB-PVR after pressing a button, the LED flickers on the MVP so I know it is receiving the signal, I tried from another remote...same thing, the only thing I can do is turn off the MVP from the remote, and turn it back on.

Very frustrating to say the least Smile

Anybody else experiencing this? Any suggestions?

Log's attached...

By the way this error occurred around 11:39PM if you are reading the logs

This seems to be the offending problem:
"2007-03-11 11:39:33.584 ERROR [10] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="ForegroundTransparency"]"

I have the same problem, the remote stops working except the on/off button.Sad

Can I somewhere download an older version of GB-PVR?

I'm having the same problem. I'm also running a client on another PC, sometimes the same thing happens on the client (MCE remote), but after a few minutes it is responsing again.

Same Problem here. Wired H3. Media MVP randomly but frequently reboots or stops responding to the remote other than the power button. Have tried a number of diff. dongle.bin files, but the problem persists. Needless to say I'm in the Doghouse with the misses since she wanted to buy a TIVO and I convinced her otherwise. But I think the guru's here will figure it out soon.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and an indication of what time the remote stepped responding so I know where abouts to look in the logs.

Hi Sub,
My first two posts above should cover it, is there something else that you need that I didn't provide?

I wanted some logs from the others so I can compare between them.

I do wonder if you'll need to do a more detailed test though, where you give the times you pressed keys (from PC clock), with 30 second or so gaps between so that I can easily differentiate and know exactly where to look in the logs.

11:53 I was just channeling up and the MVP stopped working. MVP blinks when I press a button, but nothing happens. I will post another zip when I get the mvp reboot problem.

This MVP lockup with 99.12 has been reported in other threads such as here but I'm glad to see it start getting wide coverage.

Also, since upgrading to 99.12. I've experienced about a 25% increase in random stuttering and random brief pausing while playing back recording programs. i.e. at version 98.13, I never had stuttering. Now it'll happen multiple times during any given one hour recorded show. Note, my 99.12 install was a clean install too.
