Can you post of the prior you had made for GBPVR from 98.x, through 99.5 if possible dongle.bin I mean. I know I could get them out if I had to install each one from prior versions, but would be easier if you had them around?

Also you never answered my question about MVP brightness? Is that option possible now? Otherwise I had to make the PVR-150s a -5 for brightness as it was way to dark on MVPs to watch dark clips..

Just open up the executable with winzip, 7zip or whatever you use. You should stick with version 3.3 or higher for inset video.

I am having good luck so far running with the dongle that was included in 99.05 with gbpvr 99.12. So far no unresponsive MVP but more testing before I call it fixed. I don't know the dongle version number that was in 99.05, just that it came with 99.05.

I've had the same problems with the MVP units and I've tried all the permutations of fixes with no luck. Could someone PM with a link to 99.5, this was the last version I was running that worked for me.

I have done some more testing and it looks like the 99.05 dongle does fix the unresponsive remote control problem when used with ver 99.12 GBPVR. The 99.12 dongle was frequently unresponsive and required the green power button to get it back working. I did run into something else while watching shows with the 99.05 dongle.. I have seen the remote become unresponsive on two occasions when there is a reminder set that gets triggered while watching a recording on the MVP. I let the recordings run till the end while the remote did not work. When the recording finished, up popped a reminder of a pending show. On another occasion while watching a recording a reminder flashed on the screen over the video on and off about once a second, I was able to hit ok on cancel and the flashing reminder stopped and I went on watching the video with a functioning remote. I had my logs set to error at the time and I saw nothing in them. I now have my logs set to debug and will try and get a set containing the next time this occurs.

99.05 dongle has solved my unresponsiveness problem as well. SOOO much better. Thanks to all of you for your input and logs.

i am now using the previous dongle and although the freezing is not all the time like the latest one, I still get the problem very occasionally. HOWEVER the latest dongle did not drop the MVP connection or reboot the MVP at all, going back to the old dongle i now get frequent reboots and disconnects again.

I want the best of both dongles!
