GBPVR crashes when vieiwn .mov movies.

I downloaded the quicktime alternative 1.78 in order to view the trailers for the international cinema listings plugin. After I first installed everything I was able to view the trailers fine with now problems within GBPVR. Now when I try and view them the program crashes and I get the standard 'this program has encountered an error and needs to close' along witht the send error report to MS buttons. I also tried adding the trailers folder for the my videos plugin and the same result happens when I try to view them that way. I also tried uninstalling the quicktime alternative codecs and reinstalling them. I'll attach my latest logs after the last crash.

Edit: I also tried to view a .wmv file via the video library plugin and the program seemed to just freeze up and stopped responding.

I'm guessing you system is having problems finding a suitable combination of decoders for playing these files. You're logs indicate its using the CoreAVC decoders, so I'm guessing its these that are causing the problem.

Do you have the same problem with these files in Windows Media Player?

I can play the files in media player with no problems.

I'd try first setting the 'audio renderer' option to 'system default' rather than the Cyberlink audio renderer. If that doesnt help, try switching to Overlay instead of VMR.

Thanks sub. Setting the audio render to system default fixed the problem.
