My K-World card came with Beyond TV, which blows.

The card has both digital and analog tuners. Cable is hooked up to analog and is what I'm trying to get working. BDA Devise Config Type is showing ATSC.

I can search for shows and it finds them, so my Zap2It must be working.

'Map Digital channel...' on searches up to 68 and doesn't find anything.

Does this mean its onlly looking at the digital tuner? I can pickup a few digital over the air channels in Beyond TV, but they're listed as channels 1000+

Please help!

The analog portion of the card would be under "Direct Recording Plugin" if it is supported. Only the digital tuner would be listed under "BDA Recording Plugin".

Its not listed under "Direct Recording Plugin" is there a way to add it or is it compatable with another card?

Which KWorld card is it? Some cards do not have a hardware encoder on the analog side which is required for it to be supported. If yours does not, then you can try using the Software Recorder plugin, but I don't think it is being developed or supported anymore.

The kworld atsc 110 has a software Mpeg encoder for the analog side so it would only be supported with the software recorder plugin. I know a few people with this card and they only use the atsc side.

Its the 110.

If someone can point me to the software encoder, I'll try it.

If GBPVR won't work, are there others I should look at?

No DirectShow based pvr software will natively support it. GB-PVR, MCE, MediaPortal, etc... They will all need some type of workaround like Software Recorder

Yeah, what these guys have said is correct. The analog side of this device lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder, so is not supported by GB-PVR. You might be able to get it to work with the SoftwareRecorder plugin, but its not supported by me if you encounter problems.

The digital BDA side of this device should be fine for OTA ATSC.

I think the developer of the software recording plugin is active on the forum again, so you might be able to get some info if you need it. You need to have a pretty decent system if you want to watch timeshifted live tv (encode and decode).
Just to make sure, what sort of cable system are you hooked up to?

If you can build the proper graphs you may also be able to use the graphRecorder
