Maybe try going into the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Service, and view the properties for the GBPVR Recording Service service. Try enabling the 'allow service to interact with desktop' setting if it isnt already.

@Pastro:

I'm pretty sure I don't. I think they are different numbers, but I'm not home to check.

@Sub:

I'll check that out when I get home later today. Thanks for the help thus far.

I thought they needed to be the same number when you are sharing the capture card. At least that's what worked in my setup.
Sub would know for sure though.

Sub, the allow service to interact with desktop setting was enabled. I'm going to try and create a new source called movies. We'll see if it fixes the problem.

Edit: Turns out this was a super easy fix. I hadn't noticed, but the EPG update had allotted channels 550-560 to both the internal tuner and the Composite Tuner. I disabled channels 550-560 in the Internal Tuner throuhg the config and all is well.

I'm happy to report full functionality. Thanks for all the help! Now, time to fix that timestamp issue : )

Yep - that'd do it. Anyway, glad you got it sorted.

I was caught out by something similar.
I have a PVR150 tuning both RF aerial and from a satellite box.
Live TV and watching from the TV guide worked fine, but programmed recordings got the wrong channel.
It was the fact the the two tuner were being selected top to bottom for recordings and bottom to top for live TV (or have I got that wrong way round?!?)
I was using the same EPG for both sources and both sources thought they could see the TV channel - but couldn't. I have to go through and untick those channels that weren't available to each source and all was fine.

My problem gets worse now I have four sources, I have to untick many more now. (thats why my earlier wishlist of default to be unticked for new channels imported from the EPG)

Martin

edit - whoops, sorry - I missed the 2nd page.

Yup, you are right on Martin. That's exactly what was happening. I'm just glad I got it sorted out. Now I have to decide on my next tuner...

Another PVR-150, or the 274. I have no need for another remote, and the 274 seems to be the same thing as the 150, except that it has no IR blaster built in.
