Sub, it is a pitty that you don't support it any more. When I have chosen my media center software a couple of years ago. The only software that worked really well with the tv out of the PVR350 was GBPVR. I think it's almost the only media center software that does (don't know about the MS Media Center however). So this is actually the reason I always used GBPVR. And are very happy I did.

I thought the error would have had something to do with the registry. So I ran GBPVR setup again, in the other user profile, I wanted to use GBPVR in. And now it works well.
In a user profile with restricted rights you have to run GBPVR with Administrator rights. You can do this f.i. with the RUNAS command in Windows XP (I use W2003 Server).

There was good reasons I dropped support for. The drivers for this device were just not reliable, and would cause blue screens or lockups for about half the people that tried it. There is no way I can support hardware that causes those sorts of problems for so many users. If Hauppauge had a addressed those issues two or three years ago, I probably would have still supported it today.

From recent comments from users who got here like I did (got the 350, didn't like features provided by other softwares, tried GVPBR and it worked great) I'm guessing that they finally got all that worked out. I've had no headaches in a year now that weren't caused by me or by plugin testing.

Here's hoping it stays that way!

Many, many of us only got it sorted by using software decoding instead of hardware decoding.
I'm not always right

It didnt get sorted. The PVR350 drivers still cause lots of headaches, but virtually no one uses the PVR350 tv out these days, so you dont hear about it too much (though we have had a couple of people with the same old problems in the last month or two).

I use the TV-Out on the 350 and it works ok....but I would rather not have all these issues etc BUT I would like a video card that displays as good a picture as the 350, any suggestions????
