to would require to much memory, to many things need to be loaded for each plugin, gbpvr would have to be completely reset and restarted for it to work well.

couldnt you show a list of the skins available and if you change the skin from the remote it would cause a restart?

It wouldnt be instantaneous that way but it would work wouldnt it?

the best thing to do is to make a "settings" plugin, which allowed you to adjust the settigns for "contrast", "offset" (for xcard/350), net buffer etc and change the skin in that plugin, i started making a settings plugin ages ago, and gave up on the idea. then apply all the settings and restart gbpvr.

and what would be really cool, is making it so the "settings" plugin can download and install new plugins/skins from the internet kinda like how avaluanchx does their skinning.

A settings plugin would be a very cool idea! Especially if you could adjust the picture settings like offset, contrast hue etc...

The downloads are a great idea as well!
