Config glitch, Update EPG

Trying to get TV channels imported but hitting the "Update EPG" doesn't do anything, what am I missing?

You havnt given me much to go on.

Do you get an error message or something that makes you think its failing? What EPG are you using?

thats true sub. I do not get an error message, I try to see live TV from the menu and it gives me a message that no channels have been set up and to hit the "update EPG" button on the task bar GB-PVR icon menu. I have tried several ways to "import" the channels of my local cable co. but I am getting nothing.

I am also having the same problems. In the config menu, all my channels from zap2it show up and everything is setup right as far as I can see. When I load gb-pvr and choose Live Tv, it tell me to run the config utility and set up the EPG source but as I said everything is already setup. Then it tells me to Update EPG from setup when I've done repeatedly with the same results when I choose Live TV. I've restarted my comp a few times and done the process all over with same error msg. I am using an Angel MPEG USB Tuner from Dell. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

When you did the 'update epg' did the list of channels appear?

What capture device are you using?

When I hit the "update EPG" a small window appears stating that the update is initiating but then disappears and nothing happens

What source do you use for the epg? Zap2it or xmltv or another?
