I just did a fresh install of the newest version of GBPVR, along with the 2 patches i found in the survival guide. I have dual tuners. I did an initial EPG update (zap2it) and like 4 or 5 random channels show up as channel 0, even though the name for the channel is correct. I empty'd the EPG data....but it still showed 2 channels.....both of which were showing as channel 0, although underneath the 0...it had the correct numbers (10 and 36). Idea's?

Its not something I've seen comments about in the past.

Just delete gbpvr.db3, then take a copy of empty.db3 and rename it gbpvr.db3.

there is a blank sqllite db in the gbpvr directory, called empty.db3. You can copy/rename that to replaces your gbpvr.db3 if you want to start affresh.

Thanks, I'm doing that now. If it doesn't work, does the original problem i mentioned sound like something familiar to you?

Hmm, dropping in a blank database seemed to fix it...strange since this is a brand new comp, windows install, and gbpvr install. is their anything in the database other than the tv guide info that i need to go back and update since i placed a new one in. I made some changes to the config.xml file and all, those should still hold...correct?

Okay, I spoke too soon. The channels come up right using the web admin, but if you try to go to the tv guide on my MVP or on the box itself, it simply locks up. I downloaded the newest version of gbpvr this past saturday, and then went to the survival guide and downloaded the memory leak update, and the OSD update, and dropped those files in over the installed ones....did this need to be done? any other ideas...this is a brand new setup
