Problem with channel storage in DB

Okay, I spoke too soon. The channels come up right using the web admin, but if you try to go to the tv guide on my MVP or on the box itself, it simply locks up.

Post the logs and I'll take a look.

I emptied the guide, reloaded it...and now it shows nothing but empty channels.

Given there is no errors in your logs and you're reporting empty channels, I'd just have to guess you dont have listings. I'm happy to help you, but before responding...take a good look and think about it, save us both the time from responding back and forth over a moving target.

Sorry, but that chain of events is exactly how it happened. all within 2 hours.

1. did the install, guide data was messed up
2. dropped in blank DB, gbpvr locked up everytime i tried to open tv guide.
3. empty DB, and reload it....it comes up
4. Now the guide seems to be working, but I i am trying to get all my season recordings schedule again....some of then simply fail. I hit OK, and the season recordings shows up under season recordings, but does not schedule any of those shows to record.

i included the latest logs after all of these steps.

I've done a reinstall of gbpvr many times, and it almost seems like a ghost in the machine is trying to screw with me on this one.

Okay, sorry about bouncing around with the issues Sub. I gave it overnight to settle in and to avoid bothering you with phantom issues, and everything seems to be working okay (still not sure what happened, I never really did anything to fix it...it just started working) except for the 1 remaining issue.

1. I cannot schedule certain season recordings, it puts it in the reoccurring recording menu, but doesn't schedule the shows to record. 1 example that I can give is "south park" every wednesday at 9:00 PM US Central time. I included logs on my previous post, which where taken after I tried settings up a couple of these season recordings that failed. Thanks.

Are you positive there are new episodes it should record?

Well....it's a brand new comp and install of gbpvr, however, I did an export of all my current recordings...and then an import on this new install, would that have any effect? I figured it shouldn't since those shows are already recorded, plus....my other season recordings i did worked fine.

EDIT: also, to start the season record up, i went to the next time that shows comes on...and set the recording from there....so it should have showed up as red if it was somehow already scheduled, correct?

Thats enough to stop it recording shows it already has. According to the logs it looks fine.

Have you tried do a season recording of some show you dont normally record. Do the episodes get scheduled?

Just tried that, and it failed.
I have about 6 season recordings that i run all the time.....4 of them went through even though i imported all my old recordings.....2 won't, and i just tried one that i've never scheduled, and it failed.
