Sorry, still struggling with the idea. If there is so much good stuff coming, maybe this is actually version 2.0, and you just don't know it. Big Grin

i still keep having to remind myself it's 0.99.x not 99.x Big Grin
it's certainly got enough features to be well past ver 1. already..

a feature freeze,[well almost, lol] then concentrating on stability after 1.0 would seem like a good way to go..and maybe a little push to get the word out for a sort of 'grand opening' for the masses too..Smile
[see if the 'news' of going 1.0 could generate a little pub]

every release i get "lured" into the new features anyways..hehe
[just when i have going really nicely]

but as they say, "it's all good" Big Grin

Too late, I decided to make lots of changes and break stuff. After all, most v1.0 releases are pretty average quality, and I wouldnt want to break with tradition.

Quiet is good ever now and then Smile Atleast I think it is.

I've been lurking to see if 1.0 is coming out. Something tells me Sub may start using 4 decimal places to push it back a few more revs tho, LOL.

PVR is working good, so watch a show or two a night and goof off outdoors while the weather is nice. Got a busy summer planned. Currently building a new house so we're in selling mode for our existing house. Holding an open house this weekend... ofcourse because the weather is supposed to be beautiful... would rather be out on the ATVs.

No helmet law here in CO, but must use some type of eye protection while on a motorcycle. On ATVs, you can do whatever you want. We still wear helmets and goggles, keeps our heads warm in the winter and dust outta your eyes.

I can't understand that no helmet law...but I always think back to someone who said......

When they invented motorcycles, someone came off and died. Did they get rid of motorcycles? No they invented these little hats to protect the head for when you fell off.

Still people fell off, so did they ban them? No, they found people weren't wearing the little hats, so they made it law to have to wear them...

There's something to be said about the human race isn't there.

BTW, think we're pulling another guy from Wellington, CO or round abouts down to Wellington, NZ as it starts getting into winter, ha ha poor sod!!

Back in the day, I had a Yamaha Warrior and a sand rail with a pretty sweet jazzed up VW engine in it.

How I ride, you better be wearing a helmet. I am about 50lbs heavier now, so that slows me down some in getting crazy off road.

Married with kids and no more out door toys. Sad

Sold my motorcycle too.. Sad Sad

I used to design equipment that is used in factories. Automation, fixtures, inspection gages. You ever see those "How they make that" type of shows, the stuff moving around on conveyor belts or being worked on by robots, I do that type of stuff.

The new company I started with is behind schedule and back logged. They almost exclusively do work for a major world-wide heavy equipment manufacturer.

It takes me a very long time to get anything done.Big Grin I have about 2 hours a day to do something constructive.

I was the defacto IT guy as well at my old company as well. We are talking companies with <50 employees. They have a "me" at the new company, so I don't have to fix computers or answers questions on how to operate the CAD software much.

I have installed networks and built PC's with video cards costing over $1000...

I just don't get payed the bankroll you real IT guys do..

Personally I think you guys are nuts about riding without a helmet. I got sideswipped by a car once and I bounced off my melon on the side of the road. Without a helmet, I wouldn't be around. I loaned a helmet to a friend and he got in a wreck at about 25MPH. Wore the snaps completely off on one side of the helmet. Looked like someone took a sander to the side of the helmet. He was wearing shorts and a tee shirt so he spent a couple weeks or so in the hospital because there was basically no skin on his hands.

Sold my bike (KZ900) when we had kids.
