Hi, I hope you can help me with some problems I'm having switching to timeshift mode in GBPVR 99.12.
When I push pause (either by keyboard, mouse or remote) while watching an ATSC broadcast, it works fine the first time after the PC has started up.
If I stop recording this show, and then try to push pause on another ATSC show, it seems to be working, even gets as far as displaying the image, with the timeshift bar for a second, then I get the error: "error: object reference not set to an instance of an object"
If I then try to even watch another ATSC channel (no recording), I get the error: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt".
If I keep trying to watch ATSC channels, the program becomes unstable, and then crashes with one of those generic windows error windows "Gbpvr has encountered an error and needs to close".
Throughout all this, I can watch and record Analog channels fine - until the very end when the program is unstable, and watching anything makes it crash.
Only rebooting the PC resets this all back to normal.
The first ATSC show that I record works fine though, if I set a recording to happen in the background, it works fine, but if I set 2 to happen, the 2nd one seems to continue "recording" after it's finished, according to the recording service, but it's not actually recording any more. That file is then unreadable.
I've attached my logs, and also another error message that has appeared when I closed GBPVR after the "attempted to read or write protected memory" error.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
PS. I have : Athlon 3200+, 768MB, 100GB free hard disk space, nvidia 6800gt agp, Hauppauge hvr-1600, Windows XP SP2. I installed all the patches that sub posted in the survival guide post.
Thanks,
Dan.
