I've been using GBPVR a while back with my anologue tuner card with great satisfaction Smile

Now I have purchased a DVB-C tuner card, and the proper CAM module for my operator. Channel tuning/viewing works just fine - all channels are found.

However I have one remaining issue and that is really a showstopper for me.

For some odd reason GBPVR always tries to get EPG data from the DVB signal - even when I configure it to use XMLTV. I get no warning when I select XMLTV in the Config dialogue and click OK - but next time I open the settings dialogue I can see that it has jumped back to DVB-EPG .

The reason for this being a showstopper for me is that the DVB-signal I receive only contains EPG data for 3 out of my 40 channels. Sad

Is there a way to force GBPVR 9912 to use XMLTV as EPG source for my DVB-C tuner card (Twinhan Cab-CI 2033 Mantis)?

Cheers,
joensson

Oops :o - made the stupid mistake of selecting the XMLTV directory rather than the xmltv.xml file containing the actual guide.

Now EPG is working as desired.

Sounds weird. You don't happen to be on windows vista? It can do some reverting of files for you if you're not editing them as "administrator".
