It would be cool if there were sounds for different events. For example, switching between menu items with the remote could give a click, much like in BTV. That way you would know that you switched when you heard the sound.

You can turn on some sounds in the System -> Settings menu.

You can change what sounds you get using the C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\media\sounds\sound-mapping.xml file.

I think the built in stuff does everything bleep bloop does. They're very similar - ie, can have a different sound for every key if you want.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to turn the sounds on through the System > Settings menu. However, I think that this setting should also be in the configuration. That's usually the first place I look to change settings.

The config app is eventually going away... but it will take me a while to get rid of it.

how will we set up our channels, etc? I understand it for most settings, but some would be very hard to change/set in an OSD...
