Sound, Click, something..

Kudos to the Beta team for nPVR... this is just smashing!!!

Well I looked in a variety of places and searched in several languages... and I couldn't find out how to turn on the sound that clicks with every keyboard/remote click

Now I know that there's one shipping with nPVR (sounds suspiciously similar to previous versions of GB-PVR and "Microsoft Windows" :p) and somehow I remember discussion as to modifying the config.xml for nPVR (that's how to enable in GB-PVR)

Does it exist? and if not... Can it exist?

If you have <Enabled>true</Enabled> in the <Sound> section of config.xml, then it'll play "[DATA_DIR]media\\sounds\\click.wav" with each keypress.

Yes. I remember something like this is a post I read back way... anyway... I searched and I don't have that section...

so for fun I added:

    <Enabled>true</Enabled>
</Sound>

then there was a wav file called: not_click.wav in the media\sounds folder and so I renamed that to click.wav

and it all worked. Though I did need to make those two mods... perhaps an omission in 2.0.3 ?

Thes click sounds were something I experimented with in the early days of the release, but I didnt like it so it was never enabled.

I ended up using a very quiet innocuous little beep.. It's just that little bit more...
