Hauppauge Nova-T PCI

I have an early version of the above tuner. I think the card is Model 909 with the Technotrend driver and I am unable to get GB-pvr to recognise it. I have used Graphedit and only the driver found is for my other tuner -Kworld USb 355 - is listed.
I would like to use the Nova Card with this excellent software. Can anyone help resolve this. Intercity

You dont have any BDA drivers installed.
Are you sure you didnt install the old TechnoTrend WDM drivers instead?

I am using version 2.18c Hauppague software. The driver installed is ttdvblcd.sys version 2.5.0.2.
Is that what you would expect or is it possible to use a different driver?

I've never used a nova-t, so I cant tell you anything about what specific files or versions you need to be using, but I can tell you that you dont have any BDA drivers installed so GB-PVR will not be able to use your device.
On this page: http://www.technotrend.de/english/downlo...nload.html, they list the BDA drivers has having versions number 4.4.10.18, or 5.0.0.2 for the beta version. It looks like you've installed the old WDM drivers instead of the BDA drivers. The BDA drivers are at the bottom of that page.

The drivers you are using are the wdm ones you need the ones sub linked too.

You are both absolutely spot on. The new drivers are installed and now the Nova_t is under the command of GB-PVR.
Fantastic and thanks to both. However.. when I tried to install the 2nd tuner, GB-PVR would report that the drivers were not initialized - that applied in which ever order i tried to install them (hauppague + Kworld or opposite) . After some hours of installing and reinstalling I tried designating them both as device #1 in GB-PVR and now both tuners are working. Many thanks One Happy 'Intercity'
