I'm running windows 2003 server with a hauppage card and a Fusion5 HDTV Gold(ATSC)and mux checker wasn't returning anything. Anytime I tried to record anything off the Fusion5 I wouldn't get any sort of output video file. So I went through the mux catalogue and tried a few of the mux's in there and I started getting files using some of the cyberlink ones, but they would always stop growing pretty quickly.

Most ATSC users have to end up using the ATSC mux, but I'm not sure if this is available on Windows 2003? The Cyberlink and ATI muxes tend to work well for DVB users, but not so well for ATSC users.

You should probably use the dvr-ms mux for ATSC recordings, but that is not regularly available on Win2k3. You will need to copy the files over from XP Pro. Look for sbe.dll and sbeio.dll. I have also moved encdec.dll along with the other two, but am not sure it is required. You will need to register sbe.dll.

Nothing springs to mind, but post the logs and I'll take a look.

I can see the DVR-MS mux is failing, but unfortunately there is no solid clues why.

So I have FusionHDTV installed, and that works just fine. Can I use whatever it uses? And if yes, where do I find it?
