i have a hauppauge 150mce installed in a box that i would like to use as a pvr with gb-pvr

the card seems to be correvtly installed and i can watch a tv stream through it using vlc or
though the simple tv utility that came with the hauppauge drivers shows only a still

however i am unable to get gb-pvr or a simular app called gotallmedia to show live tv or record off the 150

. i was a bit mistified that there was not a section in the setup that selects the capture card, i just 'add' a device in the capture area, which i currenlty have done with 150mce selected and all the i setting i think done.

. other items of note:
i have another tuner card in theis machine, an ati one that i do not want to use for any pvr function
, it seems that the gbpvrrecordingservice will after being on and doing nothing for about 12 hours suddenly start using alot of ram and cpu time.

First you need to define a capture source (which defines the relationship between a recording device, an EPG source and a channel changers), then edit the recording source aspect and set the device type to 'PVR150MCE'

Was this at the configured EPG update time?
