UK Radio Times film ratings

Hi all

Can I start by complementing sub on the quality of gbpvr, and especially the ease of setup. As a former mythtv user, I cannot believe how quickly I got things up and running with gbpvr. Also, I want to say how great this forum is, I see nothing but people being helpful and no newbie bashing, which I sometimes found on linux forums when trying to get myth working.

Anyway, I have a small question about the radio times xmltv feed for UK users. I know that the feed should have film ratings, and indeed my mythtv setup used to pull these down. It was a fantastic help in working out which films were worth watching. I have found the setting in xmltvgui to "add star rating" on post processing, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything, although I know the post processing is working OK because it adds the "Film:" prefix fine. Does anyone have a similar problem, or know how I can get these ratings included?

I have to admit I haven't seen the ** start ratings for some time.
I've just used gbpvr search for three stars and only found three films in the next week that have start ratings.

Maybe we have to kick the Radio times to get them re-instated.

Yep until you mentioned it I forgotten all about this, I used to find it useful on occasions. Stating that the RT reviewers views and mine tend to differ quite alot on most tv stuff.

Seems like it's a problem with the feed then, or they've just decided to stop providing it. Maybe in preparation for a pay to use service?

Edit: It's also just occurred to me that there are no actors in the listing either. Have they been taken out too?
