a180 not recording properly :S

sometimes My A180 HD card works fine then other times, it only records a 5.5 kb dvr-ms file, That's about that sometimes there are two or three in there like it attemps to resume the recording, however it dun do any good. has anyone had the same problem with hd cards, or this particular hd card?
