Hi guys,
First, thanks for all of your help from before: I purchased a Asus motherboard with Sempron 2400, and also an AGP Radeon 7000 that you folks suggested. It seems pretty stable.
I'm almost running properly but with one problem: At five minutes in of Live TV OR file playback, my audio drops out. It is not the recording, the audio exists in the file itself, nor is it a specific place. I can start playback, fast forward 10 minutes in, then hit play and five minutes later, it'll go silent. Or, I can start playback, touch nothing, and five minutes later it'll go silent.
The system:
Asus A7V400-MX w/Sempron 2400
256MB RAM
20GB Maxtor 7200RPM, 8MB cache
ATI eHomeWonder tuner
ATI Radeon 7000 AGP
Onboard SoundMAX audio
Windows XP Pro
I've tried both CyberLink PowerDVD and Intervideo WinDVD decoders, similar problems. Playing the file again doesn't recover this problem, exiting GBPVR and returning allows for another five minutes, which makes me think it's GBPVR or somewhere between GBPVR and the audio hardware.
Any ideas or suggestions? I can provide a log file if needed?
