gbpvr doesn't detect wintv 950 (980 in device manager)

anyone know how i can get gbpvr to detect it? awfully choppy in wintv2000.

Can you run filtercheck, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log it produces: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Remember the device will be #1, regardless of the fact you have another #1 in your machine.

Yeah, you need to be select the 'BDA Recording Source' when setting up your captur source.

The analog side of this device is not compatible with GB-PVR (no hardware encoder).

now i'm trying to map the channels to digital. I've download about 30 digital channels from zap2it. however, when it scans, it can't find any channels.

Does the Hauppauge software find any channels?

yeah...it did find some channels in wintv2000. however, playback very choppy. gbpvr doesn't seem to be able to find channels. uninstalled wintv software/drivers and trying to reinstall them again to see if it makes any difference.

hmmm...tried uninstalling/reinstalling. still gbpvr can't detect anything. switched from the small antenna that came w/ package to philips mant510 50db amplifying antenna and still no signal.
