Hi Sub,

Great work, love some of the improvements. Couple of things I've noticed on 0.18, but not sure if it's my set-up, changed functionality or a problem.

When watching LiveTV, the banner will appear but I never get the Skip, FF, pause buttons appearing. I can pause using the keyboard and play again, but can't ff, rew or skip etc

Also whilst watching Video's, the Skip, FF, pause etc will appear but the FF and REW don't do anything, nor do the eqivalent keyboard inputs. FF skips a frame or 2, that's it. Don't think this worked for me on previous version either.

This is all on the PC end and I've done a complete uninstall and re-install. Is it just my set-up?

Cheers, Rob

I'm at work at the moments, so cant test anything at the moment. What client type were you using again (PVR350/XCard/MVP/VMR7/9/Overlay)?

Sorry Sub, should have included all that. I'm using a PVR350 to display on a PC (not using the TV output). My 'Preferred Software MPEG-2 Decoder' is set to InterVideo NonCSS Video Decoder for H. and VMR9.

I'll need to take a look after work, but for your setup FF/RW should work when playing back existing videos. FF/RW should also work for LiveTV if SBE is used (requires XP SP1 and option to be enabled). If SBE is being used, Live TV shows an SBE message in the lower right of the OSD.

I have a very similar problem. GB-PVR does look very nice, I must say, since this is my first post [Image: biggrin.gif]

I have a PVR-350 using TV-Out and Fast Forward only works during playback of recordings if I press the >> button 3 times or hold it down for a while. Rewind works as expected.

Configuration details: Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 with the silver remote, using TV-Out, on a Pentium III 866 with 384K RAM, NVidia TNT2, running Windows XP SP1 with all critical updates. GB-PVR version is the latest, 018L.

SBE doesn't apply when using the PVR350 decoder. With this, you're only able to pause/play livetv.

Thanks, I found that fact mentioned in another thread after I posted about Fast Forward not working with Live TV using the PVR350 decoder. Do you think it will be possible to enable that feature in the future?

Also, any idea why I have to press the Fast Forward button 3 times or hold it down during playback?

Hey, on the topic of fast forwarding/rewind... I just got a wintv350 and GB-PVR. I'm able to pause live tv, but I can't rewind or ff it. I use the 350 hardware decoder to TV-out, and on the OSD it says that my buffer is 0%.

In v.193 is fast forwarding/rewinding live tv enabled?

On another subject, some of the buttons on my Hauppauge remote work, others don't. How do I go about configuring the remote to work with GB-PVR?

Thanks so much for a great pvr program!

Not for the PVR350.

I'm not in front of my PC now, but I'm not able to input the channel i want by number while using tv-out. Also those four colored buttons, do they have a set function in gb-pvr, or can you set them? I'm pretty sure the power button does nothing. This isn't a big problem, I was just wondering if I might be able to set some functions for the buttons.

Any hope for rewinding paused live tv in later versions when using tv-out with the 350?

Thanks so much!
Scott
