Sorry guys, I'm not looking into anything MVP related until the next release is out.

tipstir Wrote:Where in the HEX martin is the entry for what speed the MVP should use or can you set it to 100Mbps Full duplex.. Btw all 1.41 works.. I have no idea if this is possible, it would be pretty difficult since you'd have to also modify the device driver code to make this work. If you wanted to do this the only ways I can see would be a) add a serial port to your mvp and set this via a terminal program or b) extract the compressed linux file system, uncompress the file system, add a couple of lines to the start up script and repackage everything. I'm also still willing to help you get mvpmc working if you want to open a thread on the mpvmc sub-forum and you try to follow my steps before experimenting. I'm convinced that even with your very unique network we can get it to load. Also you've written about 1.1.41 a couple of times but that isn't on my page. Do you mean 1.1.47? Martin

Satori Wrote:I have had a problem with 1.1.52 where the MVP exits live TV by itself and goes back to the GBPVR menu, when I try to go back to live TV it starts live TV but then stops responding to commands. The only button that responds is "power" so I then power it off and on and it sits at the "connecting to server" command forever. I run 2 servers in GBPVR but that doesn't help. Just started without a change in NW setup or server setup. I've got a couple of comments - I haven't seen the ghosting with 1.1.54. - you don't need to load the config file to test emulation mode with mvpmc, that should be the last thing you worry about. Make sure you try either a nightly or one of my alpha's and not 0.3.1 - ff/rw issues are usually related to the timecode problem of the mpeg. A lot of people had this problem. Martin

Thanks for the FF/RW advice. I loaded driver #25037 (the latest for the 150) and it cleared up. I didn't think I had the driver issue, but clearly I was wrong.
I will try MVPMC again some time in the future. One reason I didn't keep trying it was FF/RW issues.... I will also try 1.1.54 one more time before I call it dead on my system. Maybe it was the load.

I swear by 2.0.24.23035 driver for the 150, it also lets you use Tweaker to adjust settings. No time bug or registry settings to set. Give it a shot if the latest drivers don't work out.

My Sig is a little misleading. It is not a patch to the dongle, it is a patch to GBPVR for the MVP.

Satori Wrote:http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=31 Thanks for the tip. I was having the remote disconnect problem on both wired and wireless MVP. Too back i have to go back to 1.1.47. I found that 1.1.54 started REALLY fast on my wireless MVP. Hope they fix the problem soon. Thanks, Greg

tipstir Wrote:Really gee, 1.41 works perfect on the wireless MVP and wired MVP. Tipstir, since you continue to write about 1.41 could you clarify what version that is on my site. Do you mean 1.1.47? I can upload 1.1.41 if you think it is necessary. Martin |
