From what I've read above, it sounds like a zap2it issues, so we'll have to hope it settles down and corrects itself soon.

Any chance something changed in the newest version? I updated the EPG with a version from maybe 3 months ago yesterday and didn't have a problem. As soon as I uninstalled then installed the newest, the problem started.

Given the problem only seems to have surfaced a couple of days ago, but the current GB-PVR release has been out for about 4 months, I dont think its anything to do with the current release. I think it was just bad timing on your part Big Grin

Post your logs though, and I'll see if you'd received the same problem as the other couple of users that posted in this thread. You might have something else going on.

Sounds like everyone is doing great now! :-) Too bad I'm not. My EPG refuses to update and it gives me an error everytime. I unistalled GBPvr and it still gives me the same error message.

Not only that but my EPG is totally blank! I cannot get it back. It is not a firewall issue as I turned that off and still get the same error.

It attempts to update it requests the data but when it gets to "parsing" it just crashes and gives me an error.

"Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly"

It has been 3 days and still won't update and gives that error [the same one of the screen capture in this post].

Ideas?

You do seem to have the exact same data problem as those guys early in this thread. It seems to be some garbage zap2it is sending though. I'm sure (like those guys) the data will correct itself pretty quickly, so hopefully you'll be able to do an epg update today/tomorrow.

Thanks Sub! I'll keep trying. It has been 3 days already but hey, what is the worse that can happen? Sure wouldn't be the end of the world, now would it? LOL.

Thanks again Sub for a GREAT program!! Big Grin Smile

i dont really know but if others are working is not updating cause you still have the old downloaded data still saved if you clear it all out then try again maybe
just with the xmltv downloader i use that can be an issue
(probably completely different but thought its not going to hurt)
