How to use GB-PVR with Hauppauge Nova T-500

Hi,

I got a Nova T-500 dual tuner and I'm trying create a Media Center PC using GBPVR but it doesnt recognise the tuner! It works fine on Vista Media Center, XP Media Center and MediaPortal but I would rather use GBPVR as it looks awesome!

During setup when i select the option to only show tuners installed on this pc it says there is no tuner installed!!

Any ideas on how i can get it to recognise my card?

What happens if you don't check the "only show tuners installed on this pc " options and just select your card?

The card isnt in the list so i cant select it! Does this mean i cant use it with GBPVR or is there something i can do?

It is compatible with GBPVR - have a look here for some related info - which should get you up and running

You have to load the Hauppauge drivers for it as well to enable it to be seen.

Iv already loaded the drivers. I will check to see if there are any updates.

How do i enable it to be seen?

I think martin means for it to be seen the drivers must be loaded

I seem to remember there was a "feature" where some cards wouldn't be detected a while back - hence my suggestion of just selecting it from the list rather than detecting the card

Hey got it to recognise my tuner had to set it to DBA Recording Plugin. Thanx!

Now i need to set up my channels and guide, how do i search for uk channels and get UK guide information?
