Changing channels with remote

My MVP testing has been delayed as I shifted my PVR350 and GBPVR to a new xw4200 3.6ghz - seems to be running ok although Tuning Assistant produced a Microsoft Send Report error.
Channel changing working on PC and on MVP although I need to close Hauppauge ir.exe and check the Use Haugppauge remote directly panel for it to work. Will test two MVPs.
Do notice that when shutting down PC it seems to take a long time to close MVP services. Am getting an error display when PC shuts down but machine is too fast to read message before it shuts down.

After having no problems with using my PV350 remote with GB-PVR, it no longer works with it. Still works fine with TV2000 and I've tried a number of suggestions from these boards but nothing has worked.
Still, gotta like this program. My trial with Sage ends on Tuesday and I don't know if I'm going to plunk down money when I find myself using GB more. Why not just send a few $$$$ to sub?

If you've reinstalled any Hauppauge software you've probably over written the GB-PVR settings in irremote.ini. If you look in irremote.ini and dont find any settings relating to GB-PVR, then you can either enable the 'direct access to hauppauge remote' option and kill ir.exe, or search the forums for the settings that are normally irremote.ini and re-add them (then restart).

Thanks sub, I've copied the settings from an old post I found into the ini file and it works now.
