Just add a second capture source that points to same card, but configure it to use the 'composite' instead of 'tuner'.

If you want GB-PVR to automatically channel channels on your dishnetwork box when it needs to record, then you'll need to add an IR Blaster into the mix (RedRat3, USB-UIRT, Actisys IR200L).

I have done the same thing for my Comcast cable box.

Setup 2 capture sources, 1 for all of the channels that you can tune with the 150 normally.

Then Setup another with the card set to Composite 1, and external tuner, and only select the channels that you didn't use in the Tuner part. Then setup your channel changer, I used the girder plugin and it tunes my motorola cable box.
I might add a third for On Demand stuff /pay per view with Composite and no tuning. Then start the show on the box manually.
3x MVPs (not used anymore)
XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire
Vista Home Premium with RDP hack
AMD Athalon 64 5000+
340gig sata, plus 80SATA+3x160IDE Drives in XP machine for storage.

Thanks for the info ill give it a try. Also one question i have is GB-PVR seems to slow and the picture become choppy after viewing for awhile by going to the guide and picking a new channel it clears right up. Is this a known issue or a configuration item somewhere possibly set wrong? Im running an athlon 64 3800+ with 512 ram for now which i would think should be fully able to do this.

I've been playing with GBPVR while waiting for my PVR150 to arrive.  I was given a Microsoft eHome remote, receiver, and IR blaster and was wondering if I can use this to tune my Dish network box?  I understand I might have to purchase the software Sub mentioned, but wanted to see if you guys knew if others have done that successfully.  I've combed the web and it appears that Girder has a plugin, but I don't see hardly any chatter in the forums about people using it (successfully or not).

BTW, from what I've messed with so far, the GBPVR software is sweet... can't wait to see what it's like tonite (tuner card should be waiting on my doorstep when I get home from work [Image: smile.gif] )
MY PVR:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Hardware: Silverstone LC13-E, Athlon II 250, Asrock 785GMH, 2GB Corsair RAM, 250GB WD HDD, 1TB WD Black, Hauppauge PVR-150 MCE tuner (s-video to Dish STB), HDHomeRun (ATSC x2), MCE2004 for Rx, USB-UIRT for Tx, Sony VL600 Remote, 36" Sony Wega HD CRT on DVI to embedded ATI HD4200.
