cough..

Today pvrx2 was still giving me a black screen on playback. No remote keys would fix the problem. restarting pvrx2 fixed the problem.

sub did you get a chance to look at my logs about (#19) as I know you were away at the weekend (hope you had a good time).

This problem is a bit of a pvrx2 showstopper atm.

cheers

I've tried a bunch of different decoders, etc. but nothing helps. No problem on the MVP. I've attached a screenshot of my weird playback. Anybody figure this out yet?

Thanks,
Derek

Sorry for being a moron, but how do I "reregister fiters from windows start menu"?

Thanks,
Derek

I guess he means: Start-programs-gbpvr-reregister filters.

The "Start-programs-gbpvr-reregister filters" trick didn't work for me - just have to remember to press an OSD button whenever we play back a recording. As a work around, is there any way of having a brief OSD thing come up every time by default? (aka an auto "blue button")

cheers,

Do you guys all have the 'minimal OSD during playback' checkbox ticked in the config app? There is only one good set of logs in this thread, and it has it ticked. The default setting does not have this setting ticked, and would result in some OSD information being shown as soon as playback started.

Yes, it appears mine is ticked, even though I don't remember ticking it Smile

i dont have it ticked
the other day the mrs was watching a dvd
i wasnt watching went out came back in 30 minutes later and it was dark
she stopped it for some reason restarted
and it was bright again
seems to get darker as the show goes on only if you touch nothing
i forgot all about it cause im normally pressing buttons on the remote so iut doesnt get a chance to go dark
very strange
