Sub or whomever knows,
Is it possible to change the number of days of data the EPG update (when using Zap2it) grabs when it runs? Because there are shows I'd like to set to record ahead of time (because I'm forgetful) but the EPG data doesn't extend that far ahead (say, 9+ days). Thanks for your help!

No, unfortunately its hard coded with the zap2it plugin. You could switch to using xmltv if you like. This will download any number of days you like.

In a few weeks we will have completed a new scheduler that you can define rules

Record any show with this title
or record any show that contains this string in the title, subtitle or description. Record on any channel or just this channel. Start times and end times. And including a new feature record unseen episodes of a given show.

That is how I plan on addressing my need which is similar to yours.

Is there any reason why the TV Guide inside GB-PVR wouldn't show all the guide data that I know to exist in the XMLTV-pulled listings file? I know it has several days more of info than what's being shown because the Recordings section knows programs are coming that are far ahead of where the TV Guide stops. I made sure to select the XMLTV option in Config and then update it. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. XMLTV has data upto 9th Feb
Reoccurring has populated Pending with data upto the 5th Feb, but TV guide has nothing after 1st Feb

I assume its something to do with the changing of the month and will sort itself out on the 1st.

After a quick look - its a bug. The TV guide is going to stop working in a few days.

I wasnt quite ready yet, but I'd better bring the release forward...

Thanks, sub. I imagine you feel inundated but you're doing an awesome job, in my opinion. Warp speed and thanks again for letting us know the deal.

Indeed, Sub, you are great. I also noticed that the Guide did not go past 1 February. To keep a project like GB-PVR going: awesome!

I guess I should have read this thread before posting my question. Ooops.

Thanks,
