Not sure where to begin. Well I'm new here to using GB-PVR after having switched from MediaPortal, and very glad that I did. However, I'm noticing a few things that are not quite working so well and not sure whether it's a bug or some other sort of problem.
I'm currently running v99.12 with the Resume-Fix patch and the Recording-Service patch, so not sure if other people who've used this version are running into the same problems. I'm controlling my STB through the S-VIDEO connection of my HVR-1600. My video-out is going through to my TV through an S-VIDEO connection. I haven't been able to find any posts that talk to the same thing.
1) Standby / Wake Issue: When I run GB in full screen mode and the system goes into standby, upon resume the video / screen is completely messed up displaying a black screen that has the display showing black and white floating strips (not sure if that's a good description). But, when I don't run GB in full screen mode, the system returns from standby without any problems. Image displays on my TV without any issues. If GB-PVR is not running, it is also fine when returning out of standby. My first guess is that it has something to do with the full screen mode of GB.
2) Live TV / Recording Colour Saturation: I notice that when I watch Live TV or any recordings that the colour seems to be off. The reds are over-exposed so everyone looks like they're sun-burned (kinda funny), but I can't seem to adjust the picture colour in any way on GB. When I watch the same show through WinTV, it's normal.
3) GB Does not Wake for Recordings: I did searches and found a ton of info, but I still can't seem to get anything to work. Basically, I tried to schedule recordings for later so that when my PC is in standby, it will wake to record. For whatever reason, GB does not send any wake command to wake the PC. When I schedule a task for a later time, the PC wakes no problem.
TIA for the help and great program. Hopefully someone has some brilliant insight on how I can get things to work properly.
