Just installed 1.08. I appreciate all the work.

I use this exclusively to watch TV on my PC (not on a TV). The new interface seems more designed for a TV. (The main menu is prettier, but harder to use on a PC.)
I no longer see a Toggle Force-Foreground menu option when I right click the title bar. I am hoping I can default that somewhere in the config file? (But I cannot find any reference to it in config.xml)
The fwd/rev navigation buttons no longer appear when I mouse over the window while watching shows. That was how I got accustomed to skipping forward / backward.
Is there a way to get the mini-guide to show in a grid format again? I found that useful for seeing what was coming on next or even setting shows to record while I was watching tv. Now it just seems to show what is currently on each channel... no way to look forward.

This wasnt a priority for me, and I didnt find time to implement it in the new release before I had to do a release. I have added it for the next release (next or so). You might be able to get it by installing any of the recent patched PVRX2.exe files, like the one here: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=7

You can use the remote or keyboard to skip forward/back. There is no OSD mouse buttons in the new interface yet. These might be in the next release - if I find time then they will be.

Not currently, but'll make a return soon.

Not sure if this is what you need, but I wonder if this plugin (utility actually) might help you?

Works fabulously. Thanks! My donation has already been sent!

I have found that pvrx2 loses focus often... any fixes for the latest version?

The only situations I'm aware of that can cause this are:

- Playing .avi files with the divx decoder, which steals the focus for it's tray app. Either search for tips about killing it's tray app, or uninstall the divx decoder and install the xvid decoder instead

- Playing MPEG files with a version of the Cyberlink decoder which doesnt have VMR9 support. This often results in playback working, but no OSD and keys dont seem to work. Use a different decoder.

That sounds like your anti-virus software or showanalyzer stealing the focus rather than a GB-PVR problem.

GB-PVR doesnt make any attempts to stop other applications from stealing the focus, and never has in the past. It just tries to be a good citizen on the Window's desktop, and expects other apps to do the same.

(BTW, this is different from the 'force foreground' feature discussed above, which is for making sure the window is on top of all other windows regardless of whether it is the application with focus or not)
