Hauppauge 1800 QAM

Has anyone had any success with the Hauppauge 1800 PCIe card and QAM, I have been trying and so far no luck with WinTV wo with GB-pvr. Does GB-PVR even support it as it won't detect an 1800 and using the 1600 (QAM) from the list doesn't work. Please, I need help or I am sending this thing back!

Can you check if your bda.ini file has this entry:

Ok, I did a search for bda.ini on my computer, nothing found.

Here is what I have for a computer:
Intel Q6600 Proc, 2 GB Ram, 7900GT, Hauppauge hvr-1800. Vista Prem.

It's in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\ directory.

DUH. I found it. However that entry is not in the .ini I have the HVR-1600 QAM but nothing for 1800

ok, after adding to the .ini file I selected the new 1800 card, and then did a map digital channels, it started by searching 138 channels, I leaft at 75 and it had still not actually found any digital channels? SHould I have re-booted after changing the .ini?
