Let it run to completion. Usually the QAM channels are in the higher numbers.

If you have already, then you may need to apply the patches relating to the HVR1600 from here: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=38

Thank you, I have not ran that patch yet, so I will do that as soon as I can.

OK, I ran the patch, rebooted the machine, re-scanned and still could not find any digital channels. I have tested the cable link with my TV and it is good.

Here is my filtercheck log, but it looks ok to me. However, I still do not get any digital channels (QAM) I am wondering if I got a BUM card since I can not get it with WINTV either?

Can you do the scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log?

Unfortunately there is no sign of any errors there.

You might need to try the alternative qam.ini files from: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...tcount=118

I think at this point I will just send the card back, it doesn't work with the Companies Own software either, and I have not seen a single comment from anyone on any newsgroup who has gotten it to work on the 1800. The 1600 Yes. Maybe the HDHomeRun is better since it tricks MCE for use there as well? I was hoping I could get it working.

Ah, I should asked this. If it you can tune QAM channels with the WinTV software, then its not a good sign. (you sure you've connected it up correctly?)

Yes, I have a High Quality Splitter on my cable splitting my cable in two, one for each port, the ANT and the Cable inputs, both plugged into the same source. I have tested both connections on my TV and still able to tune QAM channels (HD locals and such) I can tune 2-99 with WINTV but no QAM. The support at Hauppauge for the 1800 is low and no one else knows much about it. I thought it would be a great card as advertised as QAM and ATSC and PCIe Dual Tuner but I don't think it was ready for prime time. As a matter of fact, it is interesting an e-mail from hauppauge said it was meant to be a MCE card, but MCE will not do QAM?
