TUner is Freecom. EPG is Radio Times XMLTV. No idea what PVRX2 is but got TV listings with it then got No Antenna connected when I tried live TV. As I said previously I got all the TV channels originally when I scanned and set up PVR. Howe do I re-scan and start over?

If you want to start over, just copy empty.db3 over the existing gbpvr.db3 file. Also delete any *.cache files in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\bda directory.

When you're doing what exactly? Zip and attach the logs.

Did you install a mux filter?
What do you have BDA multiplexer set to in config.exe?

Run filtercheck and upload the filtercheck.log file that it creates.

When you edit the recording source, does every channel have a tuning request against it?

what OS are you using. XP, MCE, vista?

Yes and yes to the Freecom (though there is one built into my Medion 8383 with Powercinema, but never had much joy with that either) and needing more help.

Have just tried mapping digital channels to EPG twice and both times the PC has frozen and locked up with the off button being the only option.

What is filter check?

I am using XMLTV as the other option you mentioned doesn't seem to be available with the Freecom DVB-T is that right?

ill try to help
do a scan then you have to link those stations to the channels you have from your xmltv epg
the channels should be on the left then on the right you should be able to click with a drop down of the stations found(tuning request) from when you did the scan
(so basically you are linking your epg data to the capture source dvb card)
i think this is where you are going wrong

on the last page of the config is the bda multiplexer you need to download a mux if you havent just set it to dvr-ms this will get you going but it doesnt save it to a mpeg you can change it later
for now just use the dvr-ms so you can get it going

run the filter check
post the info ged will help you out tomorrow i would say

Now get the PC freezing up when I try 'Map digital channels to EPG channel' and the off button is the only way out.
