Hmm, all I've ever recorded was mpg2 with gbpvr and the 150. It's the default format it records in - I'm not even how to make it record in mpg1 format. You sure that's what you're getting?
You guys are totally right. Sorry I'm trying to learn this as I go along. :o I thought I was getting mpeg1 becuase it was listed as the "kind" on the mac I'm using but the codec is actually a muxed mpeg2 which is just fine.
Thank you for the quick replys btw GB-PBR is looks like a great program. Playing around with it further I have another question that I don't believe warrents a new thread: is it possible to schedule recordings by a single minute rather than 10 minute blocks?
You cant type any time you want. ie, if you want it to start recording at 16:41, just type 1641. It only goes in 10 minute blocks when you use the left/right buttons.
Thank you for the quick replies, GB-PVR is running very nicely now but I have another (hopefully final) question. Is it possible in any way to watch a live stream while GB-PVR is recording? So far I've only been able to watch the manual recording rather than the stream. I'm recording a large ammount and would like to see what is actually playing on the stream while it is being recorded rather than what was recorded.
There are a few ways but just goto the recordings option then choose pending, and there should be the program you are recording there. Or just click on the program on the electronic program guide and choose the play option.
If you mean by streaming on another pc on the net or you lan you can use the pc client mode or ewa. Info on how to do this is on the wiki pages.
