Hi,

first post on the forums with a problem. I have a lifeview FlyDVB-T card, I am looking to use GBPVR to drive the card.

So far I cannot get it to work at all. I cannot find any channels, as it tries to tune in I get signal strength always at zero but signal quality between 80 and 100 as it scans the relevant channels (Emley Moor transmitter). No matter how many scans I have tried it does not find any channels.

Reluctantly I have re-installed the original Lifeview software that came with the card.

Can anyone suggest how to get GBPVR to work with my card?

** Edit **

Running Windows XP sevice Pack 2 fully updated non media centre version

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Hi Sub thanks for the reply.

I have attached the logs.

My symptoms sound very similar to the ones described in this thread http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?t=28428. Is it significant that we are both new users? M-Ray has gone through the same things I have, tried both specific regions and all regions when searching for channels.

The preview window stays black and no channels are found.

The card works with the Lifeview software. I have tried GB_PVR with the life view software installed and un-installed on my machine. It does not find any channels in either case.

hi, i have posted on this b4, i have 2 of these cards in 2 pc's. use the 1.00.14 drivers from the lifeview site or search google. these are the only drivers that work with gbpvr for some unknown reason. also set ignore crc errors during scan. if you need anymore help, postagain as i'm typing this via my wireless pda and its a pain to type on. best of luck.
