I currently have two capture sources - top down on the Capture Source page, PVR350 (#2) and Nova-t (#1).

I now want to put my PVR500 in but want the tuners to be capture sources #4 and #3 with the PVR 350 still as #2 and Nova-t as #1.

The only way I can see of doing this is to delete the existing setup then add the 500, 350 and Nova-t in that order. If I do that, however, I'll loose my Ready recordings.

Any way around this? (A hack of the GBPVR.MDB for instance?).

Not easily unfortunately. You'd need to change the capture source oid's in MSAccess, but they're referenced in lots of places...

What I figured - I've just been looking at it.

One thing that occurred to me is that the 350 has oid 19 and the Nova-t has oid 20. If I renumbered the Nova to be oid 22 and found the references for that (there are less than the 350) and then put the 500's tuners in as 20 & 21 then it wouldn't be so bad.

Or isn't it as simple as that?

No - that's not what I meant. What if I put the 500 in as oid 17 & 18.

In other words, is the lowest oid the highest capture source number?

Thanks - I'll think about it when I'm asleep and maybe try it later.
