I really wish it was easier setting up Audio!

I uninstalled the AC3filter that came with k-lite filter pack (which always worked perfectly before). Downloaded and installed the latest version, and now it all works just as I want! Finally. Thanks Daveid.

(Still would like it easier to et the audio though.)

I have an old Soundblaster Audigy card; the audio properties has a 'use spdif' setting that i just leave on, and everything (dvd audio, music, system sounds if i had them turned on) all go through spdif. Maybe it has to do with your sound card/drivers? 5.1/DD and 2ch PCM all pass through without any trouble, i use AC3 filter to pass it through, I can tell when its passing a 5.1/DD stream because the receiver its connected to will change from "2CH PCM" to "DOLBY DIGITAL" on the display

As I said. It finally works. I have settings for my (built in) soundcard for spdif, but I have never noticed that it matters what I set it to. That was the first thing i tried.

Well it works now, tried all old movies and newer dvds, all have the correct audio now (peuwh, At last)
