Startiing 0.9 config gives Exception (enclosed)

When I start the config of the latest download I get this error:

Also, there's no skins to select from when I start, and when updating the EPG no channels ever shows up.

I hear XML-XML-XML from back of my head, but what can I say?

Well, after I got the error I installed the ServicePack for .NET.
But the problem was still there, so I deinstalled GBPVR and then installed it again.

And now it works.

Thanks, trying it now! How did you uninstall? I've been using Add/Remove programs, delete the devnz directory, and rebooting but it seems there are still remnants.

I used the add/remove program. I never bothered to delete the program folder.

Is it really exact the same problem?

I just compared and it's the exact same error. Unfortunately I'm still getting it after installing the service pack, uninstalling the app, deleting the directory, rebooting, and reinstalling. Not sure where to go next... I'm beginning to wonder if a .dll is still registered that shouldn't be or some registry entries aren't getting deleted.

Perhaps you can do a system restore to the situation you where on before the installation?

I'm sorry I can't help you out on this, I was a bit lucky you see. And I'm worth that in relation to my other problems on the same computer set! :-D

System restore is done from "All Programs -> Accessories -> System tools - > System restore". I have started to use that rather frequently the last days, and it is really helpful, and haven't failed me yet.

I'm off to bed now, it's 2am here, the wake up is 6am.
