Just upgraded GBPVR from 99.12 to 1.0.16. Took complete gbpvr folder backup first, and followed instructions to exit the tray apps etc first.

Upgrade proceeded correctly to compleion with no warnings.

Subsequently, PVRX2 will not play live TV, simply returning to the menu system almost immediately. Same result when clicking either 'Live TV' or chosing channel in TV Guide.

GBPVR will also not play Live TV from Live TV or TV Guide, giving an error message " Error: Input string was not in a correct format ".

Both PVRX2 and GBPVR will play back old video recordings just fine.

Both PVRX2 and GBPVR will successfully set programs to record.

System has 3 dual Win-T-500 tuners (6 in total) which all worked fine with 99.12 simultaneously.

Logs attached. (Now removed)

Please advise.

That I tried three different decoders - although I cant see the problem lying there, as I can play previous recordings perfectly.

The error appears is related to tuners and live TV.

...resulting in 4 of my 6 tuners being removed.

Added the entries from the backup, ran the 'reregister filters' thing, and all is well.

Hope this helps someone.

The bda.ini file is overwritten every release. If you've had to add things to the bda.ini file, then you'd be best to let me know what that is so I can add it to the master file - otherwise you'll need to go through this every upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. I think the difficulty is that the current BDA.ini method is not designed to cope with multiple tuners. I have to add the following text to the BDA.ini to get all my 6 tuners working, and obviously you cant do that for every eventuality - what if I had 8 - what about all the other types.

Unless you implement a parameterised version of coping with multiple tuners within a software interface, I suppose this will always be a problem.

Ok, cheers. I've added [Hauppauge Nova-T-500 DVB-T (3)] thru [Hauppauge Nova-T-500 DVB-T (6)]

Very few devices change the name filters when you add additional devices. For the vast majority of devices listed in bda.ini, only the single entry is required, and the user simply increases the device number in the config app when they setup their capture sources.

This is something that has only appeared recently, and only affects a small number of devices.
