It looks like your DVB device is ignoring tuning requests from GB-PVR, and just staying on whatever frequency was previously tuned. Twinhan usually leave a bit of logging in their drivers, so you could try running DbgView while the scan is occuring and see what the output is. You can get it from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinte...gview.mspx

Its probably not the cause, but you never know.... one thing I did notice in your logs was the evil 'Morgan Stream Switcher' filter. This has been the cause of numerous problems for people in the past, so I would suggest trying to remove that filter from your machine. In fact, I've never once seen a log that includes that filter where the machine was actually behaving.

I dont know - you'll have to look into and work it out. These things are never as clear cut as you might think. If you choose to ignore it and stick with an old version, you'll probably find you're in exactly the same boat when the next release is available.

Did you try removing the morgan stream switcher to see if it was the cause?

no its still their sorry ill do that next
just wanted to test my theory first
i installed 10016 over top of 10008 asnd it all works fine
its only when i do a fresh install of 100016

did you see even in my screen shots previous that the lnb frequencies were different which leads me to beleave its in gbpvr why would i be wrong in asuming this
does it not get those details from gbpvr

previous to 100016 these were correct without having to be changed
and when i did they fresh install of 10008 they were correct
but the fresh install of 100016 they were not

I can see GB-PVR is definitely asking for the correct frequency. It'll be because your device or its drivers isnt taking the tuning request for some reason, and leaving itself on a previous frequency it was tuned to, or on some default which just happens to match frequency of this sky mux.

We have seen some reports of the same behaviour in the past, but this is the first I've seen mentioned with v1.0.16.

Try the DbgView utility to see what the Twinhan drivers have to say.

i downloaded the DbgView ultility can you point me in the right direction with that

one thing i tried which was i got the gbpvr.db3 file from the system that was working with 10008 and it scanned fine when i replaced the 100016 one with it

but as soon as you change anything it no longer listens
just like you said grrrr

so with 10008 it took orders but 10016 it doesnt

but then if i choose another satellite it finds different stations
