I have been having fun mapping my MVP Remote (same as 45 button Hauppage MCE Remote IIRC) with the USBUIRT using Eventghost (great program btw, IMO easier to learn than HIP).

I took the existing GB-PVR plugin and tried to modify it for PVRX2. It works OK for commands where I can activate the PVRX2 Window with the Macro commands OK, but any built in items like "GB-PVR: Down" gives me a "GB-PVR is not running" error?

I can't seem to (re)configure those commands.... is there any way to modify these? I tried changing GB-PVR: Down to PVRX2: Down, but nope..

It works great. Attached is my EventGhost XML config file for the Microsoft remote that I use with GB-PVR. I'm using EventGhost version 0.3.6.1102.
Go here to get the latest version.

Hmmmm...

Thanks for that , I did try the one off the wiki but (my understanding) is that the problem with that xml is it assumes not only a MCE remote but also a MCE Beanbag. I am using my MVP remote (= MCE 45 button one, which works well on all the other commands that do a key emulation) with a USBUIRT. So the plugins I used in Eventghost are USBUIRT and GBPVR (modified). I assumed I should not use the MCE plugin as I do not have the beanbag.

Still, if it works for you, I wonder why the built-in plugin gives me a "GB-PVR is not running" error?

Have you tried posting on the EventGhost forums? The author is very responsive.

Apparently this was only ever a BETA and has been pulled.
I wrote one based on wakalaka's script, which I can post if anyone is interested, after some testing. Bear in mind it is not for MCE Beanbags (which IIRC is what wakalaka's one is for) but rather for use with GBPVR on the PC, with a USBUIRT and using a MVP Remote (The MVP does not figure into this anywhere). Not sure how many would have this exact combination, but the script can be easily modified.
