I recently installed GB-PVR and am having problems changing the record quality. I am using a pvr-250 and every time I change the recording quality, when I go back in it is set to medium. I have tried to change the settings several times, but no luck. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

You dont select the recording quality in the config app. You select it each time you make a schedule a recording.

Those settings in the config app are only for editing the bitrate etc associated with each of the predefined recording profiles. Its not used to indicate which profile will used.

I too want to record show in less quality as the default since I don't have much space on my hard drive. It seems like gb-pvr setup to have medium as the default especially if you are using the web schedule. The solution for this is that I change the medium quality to a lower stream to achieve the desire resolution.
