The edges of the GBPVR menus are cut off on my analog TV. I'm using the default blue skin. On a PC monitor the menus are perfectly positioned. This issue occurred after moving to v1.0.16 (I'm using GBPVR.exe, NOT PVRX2.exe). I did have it looking right using v09912... I didn't change anything in my ATI card's video settings when I updated.

I have selected the 4:3 Standard TV shape in GBPVR. I suspect that I will need to change some setting in ATI's Catalyst Control Center, but I can find nothing there relating to analog TV settings except these:

--- "Enable video mode (supported on lower resolutions only)", and I do have that box checked. This disables any overscan, position, and sizing controls. And this:

--- "Force TV Detection For Displays of limited resolution capabilities", and I have that checked.

When I un-check "Enable video mode", I can mess around with sizing and positioning, but I end up with a crooked edge that kind of flutters around - plus I'm concerned about overloading the analog TV with a higher resolution than it can handle.

Is there a way to get the menu sized to fit my analog TV?

I know very little about video settings. Any help is appreciated.

open the gbpvr folder
edit the config file with notepad
change the 0 to something
on my tv i use 20
so it would look like
<OverScanBorderX1>20</OverScanBorderX1>

below is what it will look like when you open it unedited
<!-- overscan control (border size in pixels) -->
<OverScanBorderX1>0</OverScanBorderX1>
<OverScanBorderY1>0</OverScanBorderY1>
<OverScanBorderX2>0</OverScanBorderX2>
<OverScanBorderY2>0</OverScanBorderY2>
<OverScanVideoAlso>true</OverScanVideoAlso>
