Skipping is fixed. My problem was with Video Archive screensaver running on the MVP. I can use any codec I want and get more or less the same result. I will use the Nvidia decoder because it has Hardware Acceleration and Directx VA. I have tearing with all of the decoders so I am hoping a better video card will fix that. I need to look up more info on that.

Tearing would usually be fixed on an nvidia card by running PVRX2.exe with the -fse command line parameter.

I thought I had slight tearing with PVRX2.exe -fse but I checked again and didn't notice it this time. So I'm good and I added that to my startup.

I installed .16 yesterday and have the same prob. I've got it to open with -fse.
I get a non jerky picture with ffdshow, but no sound. If I set the audio to ffdshow also I get sound but out of sync. Picture looks better and sharper though. My graphics card is an ATI x550 (256mb)

Any Ideas?

Btw, I installeda new irremote.ini file and set it up with the grenn poerbutton. However I can't find the mapping of the keys. I used to have the text button as F7 (aspect ratio)

Ok, think I got it fixed. Turned deinterlacing in Misc tap to none and set all the decoders to system default and it's looks like I've got lip-sync!

Fixed the button mapping.

Btw, when recording, does pvrx2 capture a frame or does on have to press cntl+t?

can someone help me with making the batch file since I don't have my gpbvr in a traditional folder?

I don't know how to substitute in for the cd/ so that it goes to D: instead of C:

Mine is in D:\GBPVR\PVRX2

Try as batch:

D:
cd\
cd gbpvr
pvrx2.exe -fse

Or as shortcut:
- navigate to your gbpvr directory in filebrowser
- then right-click pvrx2.exe -> choose copy
- navigate to your desktop
- rightclick -> paste shortcut
- edit shortcut properties as above.
Software:
- GBPVR v1.1.9 using PVRX2
- NVidea Purevideo Decoder
Hardware:
- 3 X Hauppauge PVR 150
- Media MVP (RGB) on SONY 14" 4:3 CRT
- S-Video on SONY 32" 16:9 CRT
Computer:
- P IV 1.8 Ghz
- 768 MB DDR
- Ati Radeon X1650 Pro Graphics
Drives:
- 40 GB System (XP Pro)
- 300 GB Data (Recordings) on Lacie Firewire
- 160 GB Data (Video) internal
- 120 GB Data (Audio) internal
- 60 GB (Images) internal

Next upgrade: Faster CPU / more mem.
