Error uninstalling

I installed GB-PVR before I did a thorough look through of the forums, etc. :o I have a ATI AIW 9600. Since GB-PVR doesn't work with this, I figured I would uninstall. However, I get the following error:

Error 1926. Could not set file security for file
'M:\Config.Msi\'. Error 1. Verify that you have sufficient
privileges to modify the security permissions for this file.

Any suggestions?

Ok, so any suggestions for uninstalling? I am running WinXP home.

No, I dont know. Usually you'd just use the add/remove programs feature in the control panel.

Is the M:\ drive a local hard drive, or a remote share, or another type of removable drive?

Do a search for config.msi and see if it's read-only or something like that.
It may not help, but if you want to remove GB-PVR, then you'll have to find a way of fixing the error (I don't think config.msi is part of GB-PVR though)

Also, the AIW 9600 should be supported through a plugin,

Ok, I got it uninstalled. I had to delete config.msi from the M: drive. The M: drive is a network drive. Why would this have been installed there to begin with?

I'm not really sure. The Windows MSI installer seems to work in strange and mysterious ways...
