From what I can see is that when in the "Editing Capture Source" box & I retrieve my lineups none of the info is being written into the gbpvr.db3 file.

I have no channel number info or program info. Have patched the various files from the "survival guide".

I have 3 lineups with Schedules Direct: OTA,QAM, & cable. Each lineup has been saved on the SD site.

Since I coudn't get this working I imported my gbpvr.db3 file from another computer (same tuner cards) & ran thru mapping the channels & can view tv. The Tv Guide shows my channel numbers & actually has guide info for just the QAM channels for some reason.

Anyone have any idea as to why the retrieved info from SD is not being wriiten to the database file? Is there something else I was supposed to install when setting GBPVR with Schedules Direct?

Frustrated!!!

How many capture devices do you have? Did you set up your capture sources in the format my_email@somewhere.com;DISH501:-? Make sure you have the semi-colon - no spaces - after your e-mail, your lineup name and the closing colon & dash - all no spaces.

Yes I followed subs instructions in the "survival guide". I have no problems now of logging in properly thru Schedules Direct & Zap2it.. it says it's retrieving & saving the info. Once this is done no channels show up or info of any kind. I checked the size of my gbpvr.db3 file compared to one on another computer... they weren't even close in size.

With such limited information an no logs this is tough to diagnose. If you are you running Vista did you delete the Virtual Store copy? I've had troubles with this.

Rather than using another copy, if you don't care about losing any recorded information I'd start by copying the empty.db3 to gbpvr.db3 and recreating your tuner. Set up the analog first, this should work easily, and then tackle the QAM tuner.

I need to point out that the colon and the dash in the above sample are not closing characters, they are actually a part of the Head end ID...

DISH501:-
is the sample headend

0008100-
is mine as an example...

0005995X
is another...

there are no trailing characters that need to be included except for the exact HeadEnd ID for the lineup you choose...

Hit the update epg button in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Attached is the config.exe file.

I noticed this line in the config.xml file. Wondered if this was part of the problem now that we are using SD.

<SaveZap2itXML>false</SaveZap2itXML>

You've told it to only load the lineup 'ny31578:x', which isnt an exact match with any in the data returned:

Quote:2007-09-04 14:57:38.296 VERBOSE [3] skipping lineup: PC:14225 'Local Broadcast Listings' 'Antenna' 'LocalBroadcast' 14225
2007-09-04 14:57:38.296 VERBOSE [3] skipping lineup: NY31578:- 'Time Warner Cable WNY Suburban' 'Niagara Falls' 'Cable' 14225
2007-09-04 14:57:38.312 VERBOSE [3] skipping lineup: NY31578:X 'Time Warner Cable WNY Suburban' 'Niagara Falls' 'CableDigital' 14225
CASE is important...
